1. Acceptance of Terms

I Love Video is a service operated by the TervenLabs Project.

By accessing and using I Love Video ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

I Love Video is a web-based video processing service that allows users to compress, trim, convert, and perform other operations on video files. Users may provide video files by uploading them directly or by supplying a URL to a video hosted elsewhere on the internet. The Service processes videos on our servers, keeps source uploads temporarily (about 24 hours), and keeps processed outputs temporarily (about 48 hours) so you can download them before automatic deletion.

When a URL is provided, the Service acts solely as a technical tool to retrieve the video on your behalf for processing. I Love Video does not host, index, curate, or redistribute any third-party video content.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for all content you upload to or retrieve through the Service, whether provided as a file or via a URL.
• You must have the legal right to use, download, and process any video you provide, including videos accessed via URL.
• You agree not to upload or link to any illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content without proper authorization from the rights holder.
• You represent and warrant that your use of the Service complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws, including copyright and intellectual property laws.
• You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Maximum file size depends on plan: 1 GB (anonymous), 2 GB (free logged-in), and 4 GB (Pro).

4. Third-Party Content & Copyright

• The Service allows you to provide direct URLs to video files for processing. I Love Video does not host, index, or provide access to third-party content.
• The Service does not support downloading videos from social media platforms, streaming services, or any other content-hosting platforms.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and process any video you upload or provide a URL to.
• I Love Video does not encourage, facilitate, or condone the unauthorized downloading or reproduction of copyrighted material.
• We reserve the right to disable or restrict the URL download feature at any time, for any reason, including in response to abuse.
• If you are a copyright holder and believe your content has been processed without authorization, please contact us at [email protected] with the relevant details. We will respond to valid requests in accordance with applicable law.

5. Accounts and Login

• You may create an account and sign in with email/password, Google, or Microsoft.
• Email/password accounts require email verification before password login is enabled.
• Passwords must be at least 8 characters and are stored securely using bcrypt hashing.
• For social sign-in, we receive basic profile data (such as email and display name) from Google or Microsoft to authenticate you and create/update your account.
• An essential session cookie (ilv_session) is stored in your browser for up to 30 days to keep you logged in.
• An essential anonymous ownership cookie (ilv_anon_owner) may be set for anonymous upload/output continuity.
• You can log out at any time, which immediately invalidates your session.
• If you forget your password, you can request a reset link via email (valid for 1 hour).
• We may send transactional account emails (verification, reset, welcome, and subscription/account notices). We do not send marketing emails.
• Your use of Google and Microsoft sign-in is also subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies.

6. Privacy and Data Handling

• Videos are processed on our servers with short automatic retention windows: source uploads are deleted after approximately 24 hours, and processed outputs are retained for approximately 48 hours so you can download them before automatic deletion.
• We do not store, share, or analyze the content of your videos.
• Your email address is stored for authentication, credits, and subscription management.
• When you use Google or Microsoft sign-in, we process basic profile data from the provider only for account authentication and management.
• We collect anonymized usage analytics (task type, file size, transaction cost, and a hashed IP address) to improve the Service. Raw IP addresses are never stored in analytics.
• For logged-in users, your email may be associated with analytics events for subscription and credit accounting purposes.

7. Pricing and Payments

• The Service uses a credit-based system for processing usage.
• Anonymous users: 1,000 free credits/month, IP-based usage tracking, and 1 GB max upload size.
• Free logged-in users: 5,000 free credits/month and 2 GB max upload size.
• Pro subscription: $10 USD/month with 50,000 monthly credits and 4 GB max upload size.
• Pay-as-you-go credits: available for logged-in users. Free-plan rate is 1,000 credits per $1; Pro-plan rate is 3,000 credits per $1.
• Pro subscriptions can be canceled anytime via the Stripe customer portal. No partial refunds are given for the current billing period.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Usage and limits are enforced by IP address for anonymous users and by account email for logged-in users.
• All payments are final and non-refundable unless required by law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• The results of processing will meet your expectations.
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I Love Video shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, any claims arising from your use of the URL download feature or the processing of third-party content.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and code, is the property of I Love Video. You retain all rights to your uploaded content.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
